The girls from IN the Loop TV show sit down with Adrienne Harlow to talk about the upcoming Project Pink Fashion Show at the Regions Rooftop on Wednesday September 2, 2015.

Project Pink is hosted by Susan G. Komen® Central Indiana and raises funds for breast cancer research, local breast health services and education. The fashion show features one-of-a-kind garments designed by students from the Art Institute of Indianapolis. Students create an outfit using only Race for the Cure t-shirts and scarves provided by Komen Central Indiana. The celebrity judge panel will choose the winning design with help from the audience who can vote for the 2015 Trendsetter Award for $1 per vote.

A $25 General Admission ticket includes fashion show, appetizers, desserts, cash bar and fundraising opportunities. A limited number of $75 VIP tickets will include an exclusive cocktail-hour meet and greet and runway seating. The cocktail-hour meet and greet will allow VIP guests a chance to meet celebrity judges, models and designers. Guests will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at what goes on backstage as they prepare to hit the runway! The fashion show will feature Tom Britt for his 4th year as Project Pink Emcee.

Adrienne Harlow, a breast cancer survivor, is excited to model for her 4th year: “Project Pink is my favorite Komen event. Everyone involved truly enjoys it, especially the survivors! Getting all dolled up and celebrating our survivorship is really special.” Last year’s Project Pink reached 300 attendees who contributed to raising over $20,000 to help local women fighting breast cancer and fund global research. Thanks to events like Project Pink, Komen Central Indiana has awarded more than $15 million in community grants to local organizations that deliver breast health services. These breast health programs are providing mammograms, clinical breast exams, treatment assistance, survivor support, education and community outreach to more than 20,000 underserved women and men per year.

Erica Stikeleather was born and raised in Indiana. Her studies brought her to Ohio where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media from Cedarville University. She then interned in Washington, D.C. as a communications assistant with the civic education non-profit, Presidential Classroom, and also at Heartland Truly Moving Pictures, right here in Indianapolis. Erica has spent the last 3 years in Los Angeles, working in the entertainment industry, both in front of and behind the camera. While in LA, she walked in several fashion shows during LA Fashion week, for Macy’s on the RMS Queen Mary, and also in the Powertec Model & Fitness Competition for Elisabetta Rogiani at the W Hotel, Hollywood. She is a SAG-AFTRA actress with a passion for independent filmmaking. Some of her independent film work, Freerunner and Proxy, can be found on Netflix. She has acted in music videos with Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Chris Brown as well as in numerous television commercials. She can also be seen in the film, Gangster Squad, with Sean Penn. Erica’s studies have brought her back to her home state where she is currently enrolled at IUPUI as she prepares for veterinary school. She plans to combine her experience in filmmaking with veterinary medicine to create interactive documentaries about veterinary medicine around the world. Erica is thrilled to join IN The Loop and to show the world what the great city of Indianapolis has to offer. She loves fall in Indiana, farmer’s markets in the summer, horse-back riding, and seeing as many sporting events, live music, and museums as possible.
